The Niceguys continue their exceptional musical journey with their latest release, 'Don't Let Go'. Once again, the Swiss outfit has teamed up with an outstanding artist, this time in the form of Justina Lee Brown. The Nigerian-born singer, known for her African and Caribbean bluesy performances, delivers a sublime soul and gospel infused vocal, showcasing her many influences in all their glory. With a vocal performance of this magnitude, it's not hard to understand why she is picking up so many plaudits and awards at the moment. Her lyrics dance on top of the musical bed of bass, guitar hooks and feel-good disco grooves. Support comes in the form of The Niceguys' own remix, deconstructing things and creating a stripped-back club-oriented Nu-disco stomper, whilst losing non of the original's energy and vibe. Rounding off the release is the third track, 'Travel' which has The Niceguys flexing their production skills, delivering an impeccable house groover with evocative synth hooks and driving rhythms.
