Basement Freaks is the brainchild of George Fotiadis, a producer and Dj who never stops working. He has released over 5 albums, countless EPs and remixes for all the main players in the funk and beats scene, as well as played shows all over the world. His return to Bombstrikes for a series of releases with the label is something to get excited about. The output will raise the bar whilst at the same time pushing the creative boundaries of the funk and bass scene. 'Let it Be You' is the first such release and features the soulful vocals of LA based Everyman. Perfectly showcasing George's years and years of dedication to his art with next level production, musicianship and well crafted beats which is sit effortlessly with Everyman's on point vocals. The track's message is also one we could all do with hearing sometimes. The title track is backed up by the future sounding bass funked 'Jungle City' which has delivered synth lines George Clinton would be proud of. All in all, the release is an early slice of summer from this one man funk-factory.
