BLJ: "The groove on 'Put Some Love' hooked me straight away, those vocals and smooth guitar lines really caught my ear. I wanted to channel that energy into an 80s-inspired boogie funk direction; bright, bouncy, and full of synth lines. I'd been listening to a lot of Jafunk at the time, so that influence definitely crept in. This remix is my way of giving the original a fresh new shine."
